Life monument

”Sei” monument on the side of the Muko River

Hi, how are you?πŸ˜ƒ  It's September 30, and October starts tomorrow.

Today I'll show you the photo of "Life" monument in Takarazuka.

This is made of stainless, and in the shape of Kanji character "η”Ÿ," which means life or living.

It was installed to remember the victims of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995. Twenty six years have passed since the earthquake. Around January 17, the same date as when the earthquake occurred, remembrance events are held at disaster-hit areas in Hyogo.

It reminds me once again how important our lives are. I am just thankful that I wake up every morning and realize that I'm still alive today.
