Changing my wardrobe for the new season

It's much cooler in the morning and evening. The season is changing.
I changed my clothes for new season today. I put away my summer clothes and took out my autumn and winter clothes. It is called "koromogae" in Japanese. But I couldn't find the proper expressions for it in English. "Seasonal change of clothing" has the closest meaning, I guess.
The custom of "koromogae" is usually conducted twice a year in Japan. We change from summer clothes to winter clothes on the 1st of October, and from winter clothes to summer clothes on the 1st of June. This year, however, it has been hot until quite recently, so I couldn't put away summer clothes until today.
It is said the practice of "koromogae" has been continued from the 8th-century Heian period. Now it remained a traditional custom in homes and in the school or workplace for uniformed students and workers.
