Tabi day--Japanese style socks

My tabi--Japanese style socks

Hi, how are you?

It's very hot today. The garden cyclamen on my balcony got sick in the heat...๐Ÿ’ฆ I wish you get well soon๐Ÿ˜Š

Today is Tabi day. Tabi is Japanese split-toe socks you put on especially when wearing kimono.

From October, Japanese have more opportunities to wear kimono in such an event as Shichi-go-san, Japanese festival to celebrate the growth of children around November 15. In addition, number 8 brings good fortune because the shape of 8 in Kanji character looks like an open fan which is considered as auspicious indication.

Lately, some people wear tabi as part of fashion or athletic shoes.

I might buy tabi for jogging someday๐Ÿ˜†
