Fugu sashimi called "Tessa"
Hello. Only one day to December! How time flies😆
Today is November 29. 11/29 is similar in pronunciation to "Ii-fuku." And there are some anniversaries after the word "fuku," which can be translated into some words like clothes. "Fuku" also stands for fortune or happiness in Japanese. And "fugu" is the Japanese name of a puffer fish, and it is sometimes called "fuku" especially in Kyushu area, and thought as an auspicious food.
Puffer fish has a deadly poison in the ovary and liver, and it must be prepared by a licensed chef. We Japanese love eating fugu in Japanese-style stew, "nabe", fried and sashimi. It, however, is a delicacy in Japan, and I've eaten only once😌
