A typical Japanese "Furusato" or hometown
Hi, how are you?😃
It's "Mori and Furusato" Day today. "Mori" is a forest, and as for "Furusato," hometown or one's native place has the most similar meaning.
This anniversary was established in 1994. Agricultural and mountain regions take on the public functions such as stable supply of food, conservation of natural environment and landscape. However, the reality surrounding these areas is getting harder because of depopulation and aging.
We have to leave what the Japanese landscape used to be to our next generation.
