"Toshikoshi-soba"
The last blog post for the year is New Year's Eve series the 2nd, "toshikoshi-soba." It’s a tradition for Japanese people to eat “toshikoshi-soba” on New Year’s Eve. "Toshikoshi" literally means "entering the new year," and "soba" buckwheat noodles. The long and thin soba noodles symbolize a long life, so we eat them in hope of staying healthy and living longer.
I hope that 2022 finds you happy and successful. See you next year!😃
