The first new rice of the year
Hello. How are you?😃 It was rainy all day today.
Today is the anniversary of Niigata-mai, rice from Niigata. There are major rice-producing areas, one of which is Niigata prefecture. It is located in the northeast of Chubu region, facing the Sea of Japan. Niigata is well known for producing the Koshihikari rice, one of the highest-quality brands in Japan.
In addition, it's the season for the new crop. The first new rice harvested this year is very tasty, and gives me a good appetite😁 I'll try not to eat too much😂
I have never been to Niigata. There is famous for fire works, right? I want to go there and eat Niigata-mai someday.
