the Kanji "Kin" meaning gold
Hello. Thank you for the visit😊
At the end of each year, "Kanji of the year" is announced. This year ”kin," the Chinese character meaning "Gold," was selected as Kanji of the year.
At the event of announcing the poll result, the chief priest of Kiyomizudera temple in Kyoto writes the big "kanji" in Japanese calligraphy at the temple.
When I see the kanji which symbolizes the year, I look back on the year. It's one of the special features of the year end.
What's YOUR kanji of the year?😏
