"Kiritanpo-misonabe" Day

Kiritanpo nabe

HiπŸ˜ƒ This is the end of November. December starts tomorrow!πŸ˜†

Today is "Kiritanpo-misonabe" Day. "Kiritanpo nabe" is the local hot pot of Akita prefecture, which is located in Tohoku region, and faces the Sea of Japan in the west. It is very cold in winter there. Akita is famous for farming rice, and there, "Kiritanpo," a mashed rice stick, is produced and loved as the local cuisine.

As for the anniversary, the numbers, 11, look like "kiritanpo" lined up next to each other, and 30 is also pronounced "miso" in Japanese, which is the same as  fermented soybean paste.

Please try the "nabe" to warm your body from insideπŸ˜‰
