"Kobumaki"
"Kazunoko"
Hi. Thank you for visiting my blog😊
It's the second "Osechi" series.
I told you "Osechi" is Japanese traditional assorted dishes only prepared for New Year. And we eat each dish with a different meaning to pray for good health and fortune.
"Kuromame," sweet black beans, means that you can stay healthy and work hard.
"Kobumaki,” the Konbu rolls, and "Kazunoko," herring roe, are both eaten to wish for fertility and family prosperity. "Kobu" of "kobumaki" has a similar sound to "yorokobu," which means "be happy."
I'll introduce other dish of "osechi" next time!😋
